Im not keen to hot dip galvanise because of the chance of warpage.
Flat plate that has been cold bent has a tendancy to try and relieve the stresses when it is dipped.

Dont have a tank under the wheel for that very reason. Ive seen friends leave there spare wheel behind

I had this problem on my 2.7
There is a bush that the ball of the gearlever sits in.
When this bush is worn or disintegrated it jumps out of first gear.
The agents dont supply the bush only (go figure), they only supply the whole gearlever assembly.
Alan (Hoppy) supplies these bushes.

As a matter of course get some switch cleaner in an aerosol can, remove the sensor in the intake pipe and give the sensors a good clean. Allow the excess switch cleaner to evaporate and reinstall. Makes a huge difference.

The only ones Ive come accross at Midas and other spares shops is about 12mm dia.
Even engineers supplies only have the 12mm dia nozzle.
Do you find you can get to all the grease nipples with the standard nozzle?

As most of you know to grease the propshaft you need a grease gun with a nozzle of 8mm diameter or less.
I have been looking all over for a grease gun with a suitable nozzle with no success.
Does anyone know where one can get a suitable nozzle?
