In '95 best mate and I went through Zim in my '88 2,4d lwb with an old venter trailor, scariest and best memories of Siyabora rd round bottom of Kariba poor trailor had all the paint sandblasted off the front.
9000 Kilometers in 3 weeks without even a flat.

had one in our bathroom too the 3rd time I found it back gave it stern warning not too be back or mrs was gonna squish him, seemed to work as relocated to wood pile.
To remove place a bottle over spider and slide a magazine underneath easy as pie.

echo the sentiment check the radiator cap as was problem with my 2.4d also check for calcification in the housing cleaned mine and all was hunky but not a fan of 2,8 as my dad had one and was endless trouble with motor being redone and still overheated was a sorry saga.

yip the trick is to keep ur foot off that gas pedal, my mrs moaned about bakkie sukkeling to start, since drummed this rule into her no worries and I have never had a starting problem.

bought vehicle with solid shaft from bak which goes through wheel nut hole and a heavy duty lock secures it.Unfortunately do not know name but is definately aftermarket.

Be careful of when u have to claim....know 2 folks who were only paid out after threatening law suits and another lady that was bullied into withdrawing her claim.
An independent assessor friend recommends to only insure via a broker.

This is an old system dating from the 80's and was called a bog buster (from Aus i think) easy to do just run seperate cables from back wheels etc,and yes it does work .

Will post pics soon as i get resizing thingy figured.Plenty of 4x4 trails around actually got a 4x4 "bergklim" 2 weeks time to raise money for old age home ,as for camping not so sure but reckon lotsa farmers willing to offer u a shady tree,why not check out the Murraysburg website.
