Then I also managed to book a self drive guided tour to sandwich bay that won't break the bank R1300 with Photoadventures... This is a common issue with AT tires. If you look closely you will see that the wear between the leading and trailing edges of the blocks are different. Strangely enough the trailing edges have more wear than the leading edges. I have tried different strategies to combat this as some fitment center...

HI guys, thanks for the replies did! Did our trip to Moz over December Jan packed meat for like 4 days at a time just ran the whole fridge in freezer mode @ -18 degrees. Cold drinks and beers we stuck in as needed, and dairy/fresh produce stuff seemed mostly fine in the warm compartment of the ARB.....

I assume that's with the jerry cans filled. Not overdoing it for normal driving and general over-landing but when it gets to the rougher stuff and the vehicle is jolted from side to side, that's where I think you will be getting 'close to the wind'. The problem is that you can't run different size tyres over a diff. The one wheel is then constant running faster than the other one which will damage the diff at high speed. There should be no significant adverse effects although you might experience a slightly different 'feel' in it's handling but you get used to that quickly. I can comment on the 3lt D4D. Mine has done 244 000 ks. I had the clutch fork assembly replaced by Toyota as it was noisy (sounding like a cricket) around 40 000 ks. Toyota supplied the parts.
