i am sure i will miss the SFA very much, but as said the IFS suits my needs much better. It really is a love 4x4 and man its only nice to drive! i am looking forward to many happy miles with it

Just my 2cw but looking at the picture it seems as if this is 2.7l motor, so it cant be a 2.2l right? when did the 2000 model ever come out in a 2.2? this was stopped way back like 1990?

i have heard that the stuff you buy out the shop can be a bit harsh on the seals and gaskets of your engine so its better to use a little diesel

Why don't you try a set of air bags at the back? Lots of people like them even soften the ride for you and doesn't really affect off road proformance. Just my 2cw

a 1985 toyota hilux s/c 2x4 dad's old work bakkie (builders van) with 356 000 km on the clock

So wouldn't it be a better/cheaper option than trying to find the parts to efi my lux?
Also I see in your link that the guy says rather go with the 2.7 than the 2.4 motor is this true won't it work out so much cheaper for the 2.4 motor conversion?
