Re: Nosoob 4x4 Echo Trail

Ok thanks for the info. However, I hope we can start from Twee Rivieren as Nossob is already fully booked, we won't be able to spend a night there... Spending nights in the Kgalagadi is getting difficult these days!

Mabua in August

Hi everyone, My boyfriend and I would like to drive the Mosomane trail in August (spending a night in Mosomane on the 29th if possible) but as we are only one vehicle we can't book it... Is there anyone willing to travel with us, or who has already booked and would be ok sharing the campsite? Thanks...

Re: Nosoob 4x4 Echo Trail

Hi there,

We are 3 in one vehicle are are planning to drive the trail in October, either on the 18th or the 26th, but we can't book on our own... Is there anyone driving the trail on these dates who wouldn't mind having an extra car driving along?
Thanks!!

Central Kalahari road condition

Hi there,

Friends of mine are going to Central Kalahari in 3 weeks driving from Rakops to Sunday, Piper etc then exiting south at Khutse via Xade.
Do you know of the road condition? Is there any mud along the way? Is a seed net necessary?
Thanks!

Re: Future Hilux owner and new member

Thank you all for your warm welcome an replies.
In terms of price, let's say I'm looking at around R130,000 for the vehicle only, and obviously more depending on how it is kitted for overloading.
The D4D is the engine used in newer models (after 2005) right?

Future Hilux owner and new member

Hi everyone, I'm brand new to this forum :celebrate: and never owned an Hilux before. I used to drive a Defender in Zim ( :surrender: please don't throw stones at me) that I really enjoyed but I'm now moving to SA for 2 years and I'm looking for a more confortable car to spend more time on the road....
