hi guys I'm new to this stuff,, how did you manage to raise the engine,, as um also having sump issue with the cross member, should I weld it backwards over the steering arm

Wen the sump was sitting on the cross member,, I have clearance

7mge is in now

I finally removed the 1ge, I dropped the 7mge in and having clearance issues with the cross member,, can I shave it off to allow clearance,, fone site won't let me post pics

Finally found a gearbox that bolts on to the 7mge, phew!!! been having problems finding parts,, I don't know which clutch fork and slave cylinder to use with the 5mge gearbox... pics will be coming soon.

dam this is hard work taking a smoking break

starting to take the 1ge apart and installing the 7mge, wish me luck

Making a decision on which ECU to take is very hard, the Gotech goes for R3500.00 & R1500.00 for install, the Dicktator goes for R2000.00 and the Spitronics is R4500.00 without install,, I need the lamda & knock sensor function on it. really confused

where would you recommend I get one, and is possible to use a Cressida ECU with a Supra 7mge, I just found out that I have a supra 7mge, and not a Cressy one

I have decided to go the 7mge route as it is less complicated to the 1uz, have bought engine and cant find ECU please help need Manual ECU not Auto

plus there's lots of space,, idk about suspension wont the engine be? heavy on the car

wow>> Hoppy.. I tot I had to replace the whole radiator and the drive shaft and the diff
will I have to change the engine mounts

Can u please hala me the number fr silverton radiators soo I can give them a buzz... I wonder abt the diff ratios and the fuel linings o that has to be redone again.. most of the guys in the forum have only done it on Hilux's haven't found any 1 who dd it on a cressy
