Re: For those of us that don't know about suspensions.

Hello David So have not made a choice as yet. Have had to do a few other things first, like tires that hurt a bit, as well as some suspension repair (this from the previous owner) :) The suspension upgrade is on hold for now. Have a few more urgent bills and costs that need attention first. Will hav...

Re: Which prado to get

I have a 2007 Prado V6 and it is great! :) It is heavy on juice though, the gauge shows around 16L per 100kms. I have chipped it and put a free flow to try and help the consumption, but can't say it made a huge difference with consumption, maybe around half a liter or so. Did give more power though....

Hello Stefan If anything it is only 5% louder at most, sounds slightly more refined IMHO. And yes I can feel a difference in the performance, but as they said it does depend on how you drive. I'm not particularly a robot racer, but yes I can feel a difference. Also the cost came in just over R7000 w...

So I have done the de-cat on my Prado now. Decided to go to Viper Performance Exhausts in Kempton after reading on the forum a bit. They new exactly what I was talking about and how to do it. All the mini cats installed and it is great; no unexpected lights on the dash. And the price wasn't too bad ...

Sorry yes should of mentioned that at the outset, 4L V6.
I'm very happy with the sound as it is now, does the resonance make it a lot louder than currently?

Thanks for the advice.

Where can I de-cat my Prado

Hello all I have a 2007 Prado 120 and am suffering a little with the fuel consumption. So have read on the forums that a de-cat and free flow exhaust followed by a dyno is the way to go. I want to go to Dastek for the dyno but not sure about the de-cat and exhaust. Anyone have good experience with t...

What I actually want to know is this. Is the Camel (or EFS) suspension and upgrade to an existing suspension.
Does it come before one does the Iron Man, OME or Opposite Lock?

What does it do exactly?

Hello all. So I have finally acquired my 2007 Prado 120 (202000km's) and am having a great time with it. Prado 90 vs 120?

Hi all
Am reading a lot about the Prado 90 and 95 on the threads. They are great vehicles I'm told (comfortable, great ride and plenty power). Have always liked the look.
It's a 3.4 V6 right? So how does it compare to the Prado 120 4L V6?
Any thoughts and comparisons please?
Thanks
