That sounds about right - just a little over R100/ Litre for the genuine TOY WS ATF. Interesting you have shown the transaxle fluids. I have found the genuine Toyota Transaxle fluids to be cheaper than the other makes and brands on the Midas shelves, something like R60 odd Rand per bottle at Toyota ...

As per manual - I strongly recommend the genuine Toyota WS ATF.
It is readily available at the Toyota dealerships and reasonably priced.
Any specific reason you're considering other ATF brands??

Same here as most are reporting. Keeping it easy and steady is key.
Last long trip I did, I changed from day drive to night driving.
Open roads, no more trucks to overtake, no more busy Ultra Cities, decelerate for slower traffic..
Just keeping it rustig I upped to at least an extra Km to the Litre.

On the service schedules the TOY LL coolant gets replaced after 160K Km en then thereafter every 80K Km.

Willem, I use the Mini VCI with TIS that is discussed here on this thread.
It is good enough to check most things.
And is quite affordable.
You only need the VCI, TIS software you can download now almost anywhere.
The 64bit driver for the VCI is also available on the net.

It is the VSV for EVAP. Resonates with the plastic intake assembly at idle. You need to isolate it with 2x rubber gaskets or O-rings. OH...
The bottom left 4x inputs are fed straight from the ECU/M.
If the above cct proves to be correct, I'll start searching for fault codes with OBDII.
You might have another fault or condition elsewhere preventing the ECU/M to enable the fuel pump.

You need to check the fuel pump relay. It's in the fuse box in the engine bay marked F/PMP. (The one furthest on opposite side from oil filter) Make sure it kicks in. I have done it on my previous vehicles also. For many years.
Impressive results indeed.
The new oil stays cleaner for much longer.
The only thing I do different is to keep the sump plug off
to let the diesel drain for a whole night or so.
I also only do it every 2nd service and not with every service.

Seen that a couple of times. Does it rub off? Like powdery stuff? Could be many reasons for that. Maybe normal oxidation of the hose, or release agent from the mold when they make the hose, or just the rubber properties going through all those hot/cold cycles. Maybe just normal dirt and grime drying...

That seems correct.
ECO mode reduces throttle response/sensitivity to help you accelerate slowly and smoothly. It also modifies air conditioning response to reduce the drain on engine power.
