my brake pads are on the way out, Toyota quoted me R1800, Bosch R 400. so much price difference, how are bosch brake pads ? i have never used them before.. what can you recommend?

Just blow it out with compressed air - you can also give the element a good blow out as well if it's not that bad that it needs replacement, Tip - pull an old stocking over the snorkel head when you're driving in dusty / sandy conditions. :winkx: Great, thank you Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk

I settled for LAS snorkel, i must admit it looks cool. What i noticed immediately after driving the bakkie is that it breathes much better, and the turbo lag is almost unnoticeable , and the acceleration has improved significantly :yahoo:

You could fit a couple of cargo rails on the inside of the bin (one on each side). That'll give you adjustable anchor points for your ropes / tie-downs etc. I have them and they work well. My previous vehicle was a single cab with proper hooks for securing load so i got used to that.. now i drive an extended cab and i am having difficulties as there are only 4 hooks all round. What alternatives( products) apart from the trallies/canopy ?

Thanks for the response fellas! The sound is so irritating...but as you said leave with it eish!. Does it have anything to do with the clutch slave cylinder? because at times i did flex the pin that goes into the slave cylinder and the noise disappears for some time

If I read it correctly, the rear axle LC is 1600kg divided by half is 800kg per wheel. ADVICE ON RIMS

Hi there! I need advice on the rims attached below. I currently have original toyota rims R15s. The ones in the picture are also 15s . I load my bakkie to the maximum, will they be able to cope? The hilux is tough ....even though the old fortuner is quite similar to the old hilux, i have noticed (by experience as i drive both) that the hilux is more tough ...How many KM on the fortuner?

Ek het die voriges op my bakkie gehad en het gesê ek sal hulle nie weer opsit nie oor 'n paar goed wat ek ervaar het. Hulle was hard en daar het stukke rubber afgebreek as jy klippe ry. (selfs baie versigtig). Hulle was swak op 'n nat pad en het geweldig begin raas hier na die einde van hulle lewe....
