Re: Boetamac wanna go Lexus
I have completed fitting the 1uz vvti in my 1996 Hilux 2,8dc 4x2. It was a five squeeze, but its in and running awesomely.
I am still at a loss with regards to a speedometer, but it is a very very nice experience......

Can i make vigo instrument cluster work in my SFA after 1uz conversion
Evening Gents I have recently put my Hilux back on the road after fitting a 1uz-vvti with the auto box running standard Lexus management. I have got to a brick wall with my conversion. How do I get a speedometer working? Is it at all possible to make the instrument cluster for the Vigo shape to work...

Can anyone maybe share some insight into the option of a Quantum or Hilux 20009 instrument cluster??
Or does these ones need some sort of computer interface to get it operational?

It has spent 7 days at the exhaust shop, and i went away for the easter weekend,so i could not do work on my bakkie. It took me 7 weeks from pulling the 2,8D...

I have put my Hilux ,now with Lexus 1UZ VVTi , back on the road last weekend. Just a bit of advice please: I have the 1UZ VVTi from Lextreme and using the 5spd autobox. Im under the impression that the 1996 2,8D DC 4X2 has a 4.11 diff ratio. With that ratio,225/60/15 road tyres it runs at 3000rpm at...
