Hi guys. Got my 2006 3.0 D4D back from service yesterday afternoon at 14h00. At 18h00 I left the office. on the freeway there was a sudden loss of power. then lights on the dash started dying...even the driving ligths started fading. The gears has stripped. It definitely receives the signal. Only place I could find is autostyle, but that is an entire kit. Seems like the Stealers are the only option.

Apparently an intercooler does not help for a cooler running engine, the opposite happens. Due to the air entering the engine being cooler, it is has a higher density and therefor burns better and hotter...

Seems like a good one. My insurance informed me that a tracking device from any of the mainstream suplliers will not benefit my insurance premium.

But still, if I am doing upgrades to my vehicle I would like to get it back somehow.

So yes I am definitely interested.

I think the belt slipping is the most propable explanation. In hindsight it did feel like something slipping and catching, slipping an catching.
