Thanks very much chaps, all makes sense. I will do some investigating. First prize to mate the D4D to the existing drivetrain. I will keep you posted, and if we go ahead, I will post pics and progress reports for all to enjoy.

Hi All, Has anyone out there put a 3.0D4D motor into a SFA body? I have the 97 2.8D 4x4 DC Raider and although the motor is still 100% (at 400 000km) I can get my hands on a good condition 3.0 D4D motor with ECU and I am very tempted to do this conversion for the obvious extra vooma.
