I repaced the cap with a genuine Toyota one. I even tried a stronger cap(1.1 and not a 0.9) The radiators tanks was removed and all the water channels was opened, they even replaced/ changed the filler neck.
It pushes out so much water that the expantion bottle over floes.

I wonder if someone can give me some advice? I recently bought a Hilux with a 4y motor in it, it was loosing water and used some oil. So I took the motor out and had it reconditioned. The head was pressure tested and sceemed I replaced the pistones, rings(the block was rebored), bearings, oil pump,w...

Is there anyone that can give me some insight into if it is worth changing the cam shaft to a "performance"cam and gasflowing + changing the valves to bigger ones on a 4y cylinder head.

Dit lyk my nie ek gaan regkom met die 4.3 ring en pinions nie, 2de opsie - dan soek ek 'n 4.55 ring en pinion vir die agter diff (import met difflock) Het al klaar by Toyota gehoor hulle het nie voorraad nie en Gemini het ook nie. Dit is definetief 4.3 (43 tande op die crown wheel en 10 op die pinion en die crown wheel het 'n chap op wat se 4.3)
Iemand het vir my gese dat die ring en pinions van 'n Hilux Surf af kom, hulle het glo daai ratios.

How do you test a power steering pump and box.

It has oil in, I must maybe just check if there is oil at the pump itself. After I fitted the 7mge motor it did the same for about a week and then started working propperly.

Does the standard powersteering pump work fine with with the excisting powersteering box? Myne work fine for about a month and now it wount stop mouning and the steering is very hard.
