Rectifier..? Why would there be a need on a DC system? My advice would be to get hold of a diagram and start checking the wiring harness, starting with the lambda sensor. You could also try Schalk @ Dynologic repairs in Pta, apparently a fundi on the Spitronics 012 547 1111 afterthought: just insta...

As for the Lexus conversion... Very nice. IMO, it sounds awesome, and you get to say you have V8 under the hood. Neither of which I have an issue with. In reality though, (again, just my opinion), there's too much power. The stories of hearing so many guys braking prop shafts and diffs and gearboxes...

I meant when putting the stearing rod/shaft? back, as you did with the 3 washers. did you do it only on two bolts or all four?
