jip fully understand, apparently this is how OME work, I dont particularly like the look, doesnt look right, listen they work and have no problems with them but ja just looks odd as if they have had there day !!!

Whats the longest shocks available for my 89 SFA on the market ?? I presently run TJM's but they are at there limit (ish) sat on the driveway.....I have extended shackles and OME leafs....someone mentioned to me the Gabriel Ranchos X9000 or something like that.... the other option is to put in a spa...

OME leafs are designed that the front ones sit with a slight w shape to them, is this the same as for the Mikem's ???? I dont know if I am overly impressed with what I paid for the OME's....my rear drivers side doesnt sit at the same shape as the passengers, yes I know fuel tank and wheel carrier et...

A few guys have asked, payment can be made on the morning of the trial, its R100 per vehicle, I would like to start the trail at 0930 hrs, we have quite a few vehicles so it will probably be about 3 to 4 hours max on the trail. hoppy did a 38mm +/- axle move forward, I have on 30mm wheel spacers, I have a 50mm bodylift and extended shackles front and back, OME leafs and TJM shocks.......this footwell job and support braces is a job I should have done a long time ago.....hence the buggered wings, but gonna get 2 new ones an...

jip will have to do a 50mm bodylift. I have 35's on. The axle move forward is a given, I also put on 30mm wheel spacers....otherwise no real issues.

also depending on the age check for holes or potential holes in the front footwells, quite a common problem, make sure that the transfer case does in fact engage, I know plenty of peeps who have driven away and not actually checked it has a working 4x4 set up....! know I was one of them LOL....other...

ok 90mm across, 55mm from base of clamp to top of light, 60mm deep,
battery pack is 80mm wide, 65mm deep, 80mm high,
The battery pack weighs 300 grams and the light weighs 225 grams

Hennie, sure Hoppy can recommend someone if not do it himself, I also have a headlight on buzzer installed, me also liked to forget to switch off and I drive with my headlights on all the time, day and night.....any decent autolec can do this for you....

Just an update guys, spoke to Jean at the trail and there is no camping available, the Landrover club have a challenge event booked on the Sunday (probably to see who makes it home) and they have the Camping area booked. So it will be just a day outing but we can still braai etc after the trail........

so to check earth cable from batt etc, I spoke to cassie and ciske, put jumpers on neg to chassis and now the temp gauge is dead and the fuel gauge is the same....is this something from a Star trek movie LOL.....

ok you boffins out there... so the plot thickens, the other day my Radio stopped working, so I bypassed on the advice of piet the earth and now it works !! but now my temp gauge is also stuck on full !!! so obviously I have an earth issue here of note.Any tips of where I trace or go to...its madness...

Any phone with a touch screen is a toy rather than a tool, they can do everything and have the lawn mowed, just don't try to make a normal phone call in a hurry. Maybe you should get a tab and a compact phone with "knoppies". My wife had a Blackberry for about three years with no problems...
