Re: Hilux 2013 drawers and dust-free canopy

Hi Alex There is no such thing as a dust free canopy. You can install a dust prevention kit to plug the openings around your tailgate to prevent dust from being sucked into the loadbin. 4x4Direct sells these if I remember correctly. The best foolproof way to prevent dust inside your canopy is positi...

Mine does the same. It is sucking air into the system at the diesel filter. There are o-rings there that dont seat properly. Replacing the filter will sort that out.

Re: Benton bx2 vs National Luna battery charger.

After about 8 years of hard work my BX2 has turned into a heater. I used it extensively during lockdown trying to keep 3 vehicles' batteries from turning to scrap from not being used regularly. Nowadays it does not charge batteries as good any more, but heats up nicely to warm one's hands in winter....

Hi Andreas..

Nothing as elaborate as that hey, I am sort of here, like the example below.. The main thing is to protect the radiator, which is pretty low down, and house some spotlights. The 5mm alu bumper stiffener will clean up nicely and do the job on the sides.

The availability of 15" tyres are goig to become a problem with time as most 4x4 vehicles nowadays run 17" rims therefore availability is more. I realised this when I started looking for 31x15 "s for the Mercedes. The Vigo Hilux, like yours, came out standard with 17" rims, and 2...
