Basically it takes the low voltage from the ecu and acts like a switching relay and switches the injectors on and off.

That is the injector driver.... Get a Plug and Play Unichip........ :!: No cutting at all, done plenty! With the map on it you are good for a +- 15% increase.

Re: which chip system?
Let your tuner install a bleed off tap to the waste gate to up the boost to 0.95 bar. Works very well but the map signal will have to get clamped with the Unichip. Should give you a 20% increase safely with exhaust gas temps well within the 750 deg limit.

There are very clever systems out there that run in conjuction with your oem management system using your lambda sensor for a fueling reference and switching over between fuel and gas seemlessly. Looked at bringing them in but the problem was the difference between LPD and autogas.

Re: Imported engines - any good?
The 3RZ engines range from R15000-20000 for used/imported unit. My first choice would be to redo your existing engine as you know what you you got. The only time i have experienced problems with those engines is when they have over heated. It then snowballs from there..... Otherwise I have seen them...

As far as Im aware the petrol and diesel use the same tank. I have NEVER put more than 79lt's in. Even if you factor the filler neck in it will never be an extra 25% + over the manufacturer claimed fill. Suspect in my opinion. But then I have been wrong......
