Congrats on your new car Johannes.
I dont think the car looks too bad at all and like you say, you get what you pay for.
For me the Dash and cluster design just doesn't work but design, like paint colour is a subjective thing so each to there own.
I wish you many happy, trouble free Toyota miles

Ok, Im back to reality... Mark took the gearbox out today, torque converter was sized onto the shaft and box is stuffed. So I got some bad news regarding Luxi yesterday. That sound we heard was not just lack of oil, the gearbox is stuffed. Put in gear and nothing happens.. So today Mark and I pulled Luxi out of the shop, put a piece of cloth in fuel tank, set it alight and stood looking from a distance with a beer in...

I looks like the designers took some courses in China - it makes the GWM Florid look classy.

Change the feeder piping inside the tank from 6mm to 10mm, no cavitation, no noise. Just use a decent 3 HP fuel pump from the beginning. its called butyl sealer - never sets hard and is used to prevent rattles as rivets or bolts start to wear.
We use it at work to stick magnets onto plastic frames.
Costs about R12 a meter if you are interested
warning: dont get it onto your clothing...

Maybe I just had a good 3CT???

Go for the V6 but as said elsewhere the price is a little steep.
Have a look at some of the v6's that have been for sale here on the forum and you will get a good idea of what they are going for.
as for the mileage? as long as it was serviced regularly that mileage is nothing!
