I dont think the car looks too bad at all and like you say, you get what you pay for.
For me the Dash and cluster design just doesn't work but design, like paint colour is a subjective thing so each to there own.

I welded up my CHev Kammando's tank when I was an appy: just removed the tank after draining. filled withengine cleaner and water and gave it a good bath (shouldhave seen the sludge that came out) Then brazed up the crack. Change the feeder piping inside the tank from 6mm to 10mm, no cavitation, no noise. Just use a decent 3 HP fuel pump from the beginning. From what I have learned here it seems that my 22R performs as It is supposed to.

I think I was just expecting something that it wasn't.

mine also had, and its the local version.

its called butyl sealer - never sets hard and is used to prevent rattles as rivets or bolts start to wear.
We use it at work to stick magnets onto plastic frames.

Costs about R12 a meter if you are interested

warning: dont get it onto your clothing...

Yes, I have been puzzled too by this as the specs don't make sense to me.

I havn't had it on the machine to check timing butthis was the running engine from GeorgeJVR and it runs super smooth! starts on first turn revs smoothly and sounds beautiful.

Maybe I just had a good 3CT???

when doing a body lift, remember that your rocksliders and bullbar and towbar will now be too low and need to be modified to be lifted to the same height as the 'lift

Go for the V6 but as said elsewhere the price is a little steep.

Have a look at some of the v6's that have been for sale here on the forum and you will get a good idea of what they are going for.
as for the mileage? as long as it was serviced regularly that mileage is nothing!
