Some water down the river since my last post. As Christopher my son is almost fully occupied with his studies the Hilux were moved to the back burner. Long story short I bought the Hilux from him. Re: Lexus V8 conversion For Under 30k

Thing with Yankee v8`s the things got killed by emission laws in the late 70`s. If we take the 302 Ford as an example there was a variety of engines that ranges from 300kw to 150kw. SO comparing them in standard trim depends on which and what model you have. We have a Lexus in the garage, I have a f...

You can make good power with the 3.4. I had plans to stroke a 3.0L Essex to 4.0l. Had most of the spares. When Ford bring the Ranger in 4.0L I lost interest in the project. Marius as those are semi solid mounts your engines block absorb some of the stress. I got tired of engine mountings failing on high powered engines. This is my trade mark in almost all my conversions and to date there was no failures on any side of the mountings. Have them on the other 3 v8`s I own.

I need to know if the KZTE came with the RF1A transfer case or the chain driven VF2A behind the R151.
If so did it use the 21 or 23 spline input shaft on the RF1A.

I hate cramped spaces, it gives very good access to the power steering box and power steering pump. On most SFA Hilux/Lexus conversions I have seen the is almost no space left between steering box and power steering pump.

_MG_1079 (Small).JPG Daai is no...

Re: SFA Hilux V8 Build

Gaan `n W58 se binnekos in `n R151 in bou.

Re: SFA Hilux V8 Build

Die Patrol kom mooi aan Oom. Hy sal darem mooi lyk in wit.
