It is never an easy decision. If you do decide to strip I would be interested in the leaf springs front and rear and possibly the shocks. Is it all standard equipment?

The tensioner on the timing chain broke off and damadged the casing, so that was replaced. Also did pistons, rings, valves....... The total for the recon with a heavy duty clutch was R5,200.00 I think that was very reasonable?? So far I am very happy, also got a six month gaurantee on the recon and ...

A quick update on the status of my Lux. I had the 22R motor in for a recon and replaced the clutch as well. All seems fine at the moment and I am very excited to get the van into the bush!!
