I have found that measuring the pressure may not give you the correct info. A buggered pump can give the right pressure but it may not be possible to maintain that pressure under flow. Meaning if you close the pump off then pressure within spec but as soon as you put your foot down and demand the s...

I went through this exersise a few months ago on Cleaners truck. Not a fun exersise if you are alone. When I pulled the pump out it was black with a grease like buildup. Cleaned it and tested the pump. Worked perfect with the correct pressure. The power was drastically increased when I put everythin...

If it is the Gen 2 4Runner then I would say go for it. I had the 2l-te in my gen2 Surf and it worked well with the auto. Why I say Gen2 is that most of the parts are interchangeable with the local IFS. Should you ever want to go the lexus v8 route then the conversion is also much easier. No major mo...

Nee jong jammer. Die eienaar was daar toe ek fotos geneem het toe neem ons nie die onderstel brackets af nie. Kan wel se dit is 10mm brackets wat op die chassis vas bout. Dit is baie sterk. :thumbup:

Die viscus fan kon nie in pas in my enjin by nie en dit is die selfde as die IFS sin. Al hoe hy kon pas was deur om te moes sny aan my cradle wat ek geweier het om te doen. :thumbup: As jy auto hou en non vvti gaan kan jy n surf transfer case gebruik. Pre wired is the way to go. :thumbup: Lextreme and V8 solid both use original ecu... thats the best way. Why change when you can keep everything standard. I have the non vvti. Optirite's new rock sliders

That brake wire must NOT be connected to the lights... it is an earth wire. Connect it to the chassis. That disengages the dvd view when handbrake is lowered. Illuminating needs to be connected to the park lights. Toyota have that wire. That turns on the radio keys lights and dims the screen when li...
