By the way, the north to south route (Nossob to Twee Rivier) is easier then the south to north route (Twee Rivier to Nossob) due to the way the prevailing wind shapes the dunes.

Andy, sorry I disagree with you. I have had plenty frames warp when galvanized. I don't know why but this does happen. Maybe the structure was badly designed or had internal tension, I don't know but it definitely warped.

In 1996 I rolled my Hilux at about 120Km/hr. down and embankment and into a ravine. We were lucky to have no injuries at all. Another suggestion is that you could also make the back door swing rather than tilt. That way you can attach items in the inside of the door as well. I don't know what others will think though.
