I am looking at a second hand one in mint condition with all the extra's I would require (including a long range tank)for trips across the border. I do have a caravan which I will tow for local trips to coast and berg on occasitions. But for the most would be roof top tenting.

Thanks Tertius. Any particular reason why you went for a petrol and not a diesel and a automatic as apposed to a manual?

I am looking to purchase a leisure / retirement 4 x 4 Lux. Do i get petrol or diesel? Manual or Automatic? Have located a very nice 4 lt Auto but would appreciate some good advice.

Hi, I am considering purchasing Hilux 4 lt automatic Double Cab. Fuel consumtion is a concern though! Can anyone give me some advise?
