Watch where you step, in '86 during basics a lot of mortar shells just bounced and we left them lying there.

Re: inaccurate fuel gauge

I had my fuel tank out so did a check with the sender unit. Picture shows level of sender unit float in tank when fuel needle is exactly in line with the E stripe on the fuel gauge on my 93 single cab.

Re: Slider for 40 l Engel

I made mine with furnlock sliders, angle iron and 4 thin slices of 60mm tubing to make "footholders" for the rubber feet of the Engel to fit into.

Spacing of the feet center's is 210mm width and 480mm length.

Re: Fitting diff air locker on 93 SFA

:D: thanks Jaco...just following the manual and Google  . Mine is model RD23 which has been superseded with model RD132 a couple of years back...not sure what the difference is but am guessing it is an improved pressure sealing mechanism between the air feeder and the rotating journal? It fit...

Propshaft center bearing

Hello At a recent service, on the mechanics recommendation, my '93 4Y Raider's prop shaft center bearing was replaced. A few thousand km later it has developed a screech/whistle from the propshaft when in motion after a few km from cold. It exists with gearbox in neutral and with engine off, so long...
