Re: 3.0 D4D Clutch Problem

When speaking to the local stealers, they guy mentioned that they have some in stock as the hilux's get done often (I have a tuna and was asking about my clutch). That said, this is an assumption....

As far as I know they're the same. :)

Speaking of.... What does a S/C bin weigh? And cost for that matter :alvarin: Wayne, PM First Geer (Tony). He weighed his with & without the Loadbin, so would know what it weighs, when he started building his CAMPER. I think that it was in the region of about 450 kgs :shock2: That heavy :shock2...

Re: Dash lights on.

Car must be off. You can also try remove battery and reconnect. Chances are you've blown a fuse... check all the tail/stop/turn fuses and maybe the abs one as well. There's a fuse box under the bonnet and another one under the steering wheel :) gl mate!

Re: 07 Fortuner Clutch

One rarely replace the flywheel. Just scheme. Yes the seals buy them from Toyota, not bad pricing for the seals. Awesome thank you! And I should tell them to not do the fork? The clutch I do not have an issue with, I just dont want this pressure plate "collapsing" and becoming hard again ...

I been using the LUK kits a lot, no come backs nothing. Sachs is good kits. Just stay away of the Repco or cheaper ones you get. Many times I bought clutches from Toyota it was either a LUK or Sachs marked product in any case in a Toyota branded box. Aisan is the preferred part OE of Toyota but you...

07 Fortuner Clutch

Hi All, So here it goes.... The clutch in my tuna (180kkm) has been getting harder and harder over time. I don't notice it but other drivers do. Now the release bearing has started whining when foot is on the clutch pedal 5kkm ago. The local dealer says that the bearing should be OK for a while long...

Re: Hilux Trailer For my Fortuner

I also thought of doing it, put an alu canopy on it with roofrack and a drawer system in the back. But to get one costs a bit unless you have a contact, and the load bit itself weighs quite a bit. But yes I do like the idea. Speaking of.... What does a S/C bin weigh? And cost for that mat...

Where does one mount the relay for a spotlight or lightbar?

I am fitting a switch for on / off but I'd like to know where one mounts the replay for this in a vigo / fortuner :)

Thanks :)

Re: What Bullbar

It doesn't work with enertia only, it needs a knock, you can set it off with a hammer if you hit close to the sensor with no inertia involved. That's why the more solid bumper may set it off sooner, the plastic bumper gives way with no resistance causing no inertia or knock. So what would you fit? ...

Strong and airbag compatible does not go hand in hand. In order to be airbag compatible it must be weak, otherwise it wont crumple. Ok, so what happens if you have a non-compatible bar and you have an accident and someone gets hurt... Thats a worry for me... When you say weak, I'm sure that they ar...

FYI, have a look at this light bar:

It's 42 * 3W(309lm) led's which is 12978 raw lumens. It's something that I am looking at getting
