Thanks for the feedback guys, Gernot which diff drop kit did you use? Are you using just the 2 points to lower the diff and swiveling the 3rd?

2003 hilux diff drop kit
Morning guys. I unfortunately snapped my outer cv joints on my kzte this week-end. To be quite honest I expected this to happen at some stage as I have ball joint spacers, 33 inch wheels and an auto locker....weakest point would be the CVS. Anyway I want to lower the front diff to correct the angle ...

Welcome Thomas. I also doubt that you have a bent shaft. I experienced something similar a few years ago only to realise that the workshop at the time fitted the bearing collar incorrectly. Have it checked by somebody else.

Hi Mud dog. I am running bigger tyres. Tread is all terrain so not too aggressive. Going to do a more in depth inspection of the chassis this afternoon.

IFS chassis flex at steering box
Hi All I encountered a strange issue on my 2003 hilux kzte a few weeks ago, I noticed a very small crack at the bottom of the chassis where the steering box mounts. I had this repaired and realised that the reason for the crack was potentially due to the bottom fastening bolt of the steering box bei...

I also had a set on my hilux, very similar sentiment to Mars, they are good tyres but I also had the issue of the rubber breaking off if you lost traction on a hard surface. They need to also be rotated often when new as they tend to wear unevenly if they not. I also wouldn't purchase another set si...

Hi Johan, it does have grease nipples and I have greased them but I actually think that the Part Quip is just inferior quality as it wears off too quickly. What make are the ball joints that you have?

Raymond I also drilled whilst the engine was running, very similar to Johan above. Just be sure to use a good quality drill bit and cutting fluid, makes the task very manageable.
