I investigated extended warranty when I owned later model Hilux and found that the coverage is limited e.g. will only cover R5000 on gearbox, R5000 on turbo etc so you will still have to hoes if something major goes wrong. Just to continue this discussion... how did the exhaust work out .. cause I am getting 6,5l and am not happy but have not tinkered at all.

Hoppy is quite accommodating in terms of when you pick up / drop off - you can arrange for a time in the evening if that makes it easier. Otherwise the Brackenfell train station is within walking distance if you need to get into town - I've used that option before. Thanks the train might help.... A...

From what I recall he is in the Northern Suburbs, this becomes a problem with droppinb bakkie off etc...
