Good day all
I've got 7 x Kumho Road Venture MT's in 33x12.5R15 that I'm looking to trade for 35's or 37's in an R15.
Two are quite used, and 4 are almost new. One is brand new and hasn't been fitted. Will post up some pics shortly

KZN SFA Owners
Calling all SFA owners in the durban and KZN area! Few of us are trying to build a local community. Yes we've just started and only have a few members but the only way to grow a community is to reach out and spread the word. It's just a whatsapp group for now but hopefully with time, it can become a...

Re: 1uz spitronics cold start
G'day, I have a 1uz hilux surf running spitronics. I'm hoping that given spitronics is from SA that I might be able to get some expert advice. Bit of back ground information: I did the conversion maybe 5 years ago. Originally I ran the stock 1uz ecu, then after issues with that i turned to spitroni...

Re: home made roof rack
Is the water pooling in the footwells? Yeah. And the seat got wet and there was droplets on the window and along the door. This is the first time I've had it happen and coincidentally it's after I fitted my roof rack. I think the brackets are causing water to flow over the gutters and my worn door ...

Re: home made roof rack
No, my cab leaked from under the vent panel below the windscreen and from the rust holes in the A pillars at the seam between the pillar and the roof on both sides. The welds there are always a weak point on the older Hiluxes I think it's just my worn out door seals because there isn't any major ru...

Re: Lexus V8 Conversions
Update on my diff nightmare. Had it rebuilt last year by Jaco Groenveld from Living SFA in jhb. The issue was a 10mm or so ish spacer fitted by some genius between the crown wheel and carrier. The oil was more steel chunks and shavings than oil and the noise was deafening. Thankfully the nightmare h...

Hey Mate I've got a steel canopy that came with my bakkie when I bought it that I'm looking to get rid of. I'll be honest, ot isn't fantastic but it works and I thought it looked cool. I prefer having an open bin tho and it doesn't work with a roll bar. It's got a frame that fits into the bin and al...

Sjo, I have not been on here for a while myself. Seems as though you were busy Harm JR. From what you describe it seems like the axle and ratio in there is still the same, or very close to, the original ratio for most of the SFA's. When the original diffs are still good and not fiddled with they sh...

I've been looking into leaf wrap or axle wrap. Could that be a contributing factor to a diff messing up the crown wheel and pinion?
Any advice is appreciated

Re: Lexus V8 Conversions
You need to first determine precisely what diff you have in the back, as your description is not clear enough. Read the first bit of the following link and then let us know - NB the Gearmax diff, if fitted with a diff-lock, will not have a bald black rear cover surrounded by bolts as pictured, it w...

You should check on the rules of the national traffic ordinances IRO lighting on motor vehicles that are to be operated on a public road ....what's legal and what's not. For instance, you may not exceed 6 forward facing lamps and these must be equally spaced off the each side of the centre line of ...

Morning, The SFA's are mamba, if you can get one in good nick, grab it. Don't worry too much about the auto, they are generally a bit heavier on fuel, but tend to be less of an headache when it comes to handling the power of the motor etc. Go have a look on Google and YouTube and the like on the di...
