You're not helping right now! :laugh2: But seriously, I have been giving it a lot of unhealthy thought. Some of the stuff we do here is quite rough and one of the main reasons why I bought Sifu Lux was to save the LTD. He (or she) has been built up for that kind of thing and the guys here like to pu...

Looks like it's a common problem then Stef. I also originally wanted to have a continuous length bent to shape but to get someone here that can do it competently with 60mm 3mm gauge pipe is where I ran into a snag. It would have to be exactly the right length and angles on the same plane when they'r...

Could be, but a single 'clunk' is what Justin described and CV's will mostly make a series of 'clunks'.

Ball joints would be the first ting that I'd look at and even though they seem to be OK on purely visual inspection, this may not be the case. One needs to jack it up and check for play with a tommy-bar. The other thing I would look at is the shock mounts top and bottom, and if it's a strut make sur...

There should be no water getting in there unless you have rust holes where the roof skin meets the gutter somewhere at the back. Another possibility is if you have an antenna mounted on the 'C'-pillar and the rubber seal washers are perished and cracked.

I know that feeding a little water / steam into the intake cleans it up very nicely and can even give better fuel economy, BUT it runs hotter for some reason and it can errode the metal in the combustion chamber. I wouldn't do it. A good open road run normally does the trick anyway. :winkx:

The brake lights could just be a bad earth or bad connection at the lamps themselves. The rest only happened when you disturbed the fuses, so almost certainly a fuse is now blown or more likely not making proper contact either on the fuse itself or on the fuse box wiring.
