I have a NL system fitted to my vehicle, battery is situated in the load bin and is portable if I need to remove it at a camp site. I have a 105amp Deep Cycle battery which runs my Engel fridge/Freezer, I have had no problems with mine.

Thanks Chris, I will have to put it on every now and again just to keep it topped up until the next use. The battery is sitting in the box I made for it. I don't want to ride around with it in the back of the vehicle.

I would suggest to check the level at your next service, the workshops fill the engin according to the volume specified, e.g. 4l or 6l. check to see where the level of the oil is according to these specs, then you can see which side is the correct one.

Yes, the pos (red) cable from the main battery connects to a 100amp in line fuse first, then from the fuse to the terminal marked main battery on the solenoid.
