Derik 2000 2.7 Hilux - varies from day to day but at the moment the most common to be heard is "...that $*&@ Hilux".

I drive a very fast red ambulance for the KZN Health dep. Stugging with the fuel bill though(mine - not theirs).

Chip on 2.7
Anyone with experience of a chipped 2.7? Mine's a 2000 with aparently a C-tech chip and freeflow.
No improvement on fuel economy at all, and judging the power is difficult as my previous truck was the 4500 EFI.
There's definitely something to be said for upgrading instead of downgrading...
