My dealer has suggested the Continentals. Any comments from folks who are/have used them?

Camping fridge/generator question

I have a Snomaster 12/220v 40 litre fridge/freezer and have just been given a like new Yamaha ET600a Generator which I am getting serviced.
Not being too technically minded, I am trying to establish whether this little genny will power the fridge.

I had one of the +/- 2000 model DC 4x2 newer shape Hilux models that came out with the Alpine Turbo. Was OK, but blew a piston at 140000, Alpine replaced it, and then blew a second piston at about 165000. I then traded the truck in on a KZTE and have had several discussions on it here on this site.

It would appear that I am getting a bit of oil leakage from my sump gasket. I am told that to replace the gasket it is necessary to lift the engine or drop the front suspension, this seems a bit extreme?

I have been using them now for 2 years, the tread seems to be great for mileage, but the sidewalls are not as strong as I would believe necessary for rigorous off road application.
I have had to replace every tire over the past 24 months due to side wall damage.
