Theres Paradise 4x4 in wilderness :thumbup:
its all sand driving, but is really fun.
They also have a great lapa overloking the acean where you can braai after.

2.7 import diff lock faulty

2.7 import diff, engaged it last weekend, it stayed engaged. i took off the actuator at the diff and its free, motor doesn't look burn. any thoughts on this?

Need a bit more info... Does it happen when the engine is cold / hot/ any time? Random? When did this start? After a service? replacement of parts? Any alarm / immobilizers? vehicle is standard, just started all of a sudden. no service or parts replaced at the time. has the standard toyota imobiliz...

Ha! Had the same a while back! The engine light is the ECU that does not get a speed signal from the gearbox. Get in under the truck and wiggle the plug( there are 2 on the drivers side, but can't remember which one) and it should do the trick. Thanks, i'll try that. :thumbup: Was that the only pro...

Was wondering if someone else has had an issue like this. last week on 402000km the speedo just stopped and engine light came on. This kz has an electric speedo, any idea what the issue could be? sender unite?

The sender unit on the 2.8D is on the injection pump. its the little unit that sits on the side of the pump on the engine side.

It is, you have to take out the speedo/rev counter cluster and move a screw to a different hole to reset the meter.. :|

Has anyone replace their interior fan of their SFA with one that works better? if i put mine on full it feel like its only on the second setting. Anyone got any idea what could fit there from another vehicle or an after market part??

the problem was the anti-theft box on the back of the injection pump. i sits on top of the cut off switch so you cant hot wire it.

Almost all Midas and Autozone's stock the universal gear lever boot.

I have a condor that cuts outs out and then doesn't start. if i leave it a bit, it starts perfectly again, runs a bit then cuts out again. my thought are it could be the diesel cut off switch on the pump, but they normally stop working completely. it still has its factory Toyota immobilizer... Silverton radiators also clean tanks, they put it in a acid bath and then fix any leaks. will be cheaper than galvanizing.
down here they charge R450-R550 to clean and fix a tank...

Does the aluminum burn away where you are welding, or does the feed wire get too hot? how does it work with the pedal, do you start welding very hot and then slowly reduc...
