I've never seen a copper intercooler..... That should tell you something. That's air to air cooling if you want to be technical :siffler: I bought an aluminum replacement for my Camry from silverton, no issues, in fact runs a little cooler. Price difference can be put down more to cost of raw mater...

Divide your ebucs by 100 and that's how many rands you have,then go to the shop and swipe the card and take your purchase home :thumbup: When at makro you need to swipe your card after the purchase,otherwise you don't get the rewards,elsewhere it's auto with you FNB card. DRL's are a euro standard, all vehicles released now have to include them for visibility. Don't think you would have an issue with the legal aspect, there are guidelines to mountung them though, they have to be within 30cm of the corner of the vehicle and cannot be higher than a meter IIRC. Should be stamped on the back of the disk.

If there's a ridge on the outside edge you rather just change them.

I'm sure I saw a mod using Golf rear calipers.

Stock front disks and any caliper that uses the pads for the handbrake should work.

Try searching for Vigo/surf rear disk upgrade

From what I've heard either is fine as long as the vehicle doesn't have a particulate filter. Its only since 2006 that the sulphur content in diesel locally was set, I'm sure prior to that the levels could have been as high as 3000ppm :P My cousin did use 50ppm in his 07 Polo TDi but reverted to 500...

The light has a dual purpose, telling u that the handbrake is up and also the brakefluid level.

The handbrake switch could be faulty or the fluid level sensor.

Check both, or perhaps the fluid level is a little to low

Front cut - includes the engine bay and the instumentation, ignition, everything in the dash. Wiring harnesses and ecu's included Oki, most engine places only have the engine. My brother and I want to upgrade from 31" to 33's on our SFA, I know that the diff has to be move to accommodate the tyres.

Apart from the diff move is there any other work that needs to be done?

Lastly, but most important, is there anybody that can do this job in the KZN area?

Free wheel hubs

Hi,

Need a replacement set of Hubs for my SFA.

Called commercial Auto parts and they do have but they need to know how many splines and bolts it has.

The bakkie is in Durbs and I'm here in PTA, are all of them the same and someone help me out?

@danman - I picked up those seats from a guy on the Twincam Forum for R400 if I remember correctly, then recovering and fitment cost about R1700.

@kaspaas - One day when I put my lexus V8 and a proper off-road suspension it'll running 33's at least.

Had the same problem with a Mazda 4x4.

There is a rubber / poly bush at the end of the lever that like a ball joint, get a new rubber in and you gear lever will be as good as new.

I'm sure that you can get it from your local spares shop.

Hi,

My lux doesn't start when hot. If it's cold it starts on the first try, but after driving it I have to try and try, sometimes have to resort to kick starting it.

Any ideas or help.
