Re: Donkerkloof Carnage 3rd Crusade

Andy, Yes, we build these toys for a living. The 4Runner I've had since 1996 (1991 model). It has almost 500 000 km on the clock and still just drives better by the day. The suspension is our own design, by incorporating various different components to work in unison. The front shocks are Fox Racing...

Re: IFS torsion bar adjustement - what is the correct setting

Re: Power steering pump

Hi Deon, Sounds like your pump is cavitating. Jack up the front of the car and while checking the fluid level in the reservoir, with the car running, turn your steering slowly from side to side, holding it against the steering stops for 2-3 seconds every time. This should bleed the system. If you ha...

Re: Socket size?

You need a 54mm socket. Remove your free wheel hub dial, remove the snapring on the sideshaft, use a brass punch, after the nuts have been removed from the hub body, and rap the studs on the ends to get the taper lock washers to jump out - do not hit the body of the hub! Remove the hub body, loosen ...

Tristan The fact is that it doesn't matter who actually manufactures the shock, what matters is who designs it and in this case OME has dedicated engineers that only design shocks for 4x4 use.
