Just find out what the comparative cost would be for a new fuel tank. I believe you get the same pump as part of this and for a lot cheaper.

Have you spoken to your local Toyota Dealer ? They have affordable options, I have some in my vehicle and neither my wife nor any of my over active kids (toddlers) have caused any permanent damage in the last 13months ....

Bought my 4x4 V6 4.0 for R180 k with 176k km on the clock in Sept. Long range tank, new tyres, dual batt , amarok recovery bar / tow bar and canopy included....
Had some issues with the gearbox, but the dealer finally fixed it in December. Now I only start thinking it was a decent deal.
