my 2.5 D4D is alot softer ride than my dad's 3.0 D4D we checked everything from suspension to tyres i have 16" rims / he has 15" has resulted in him changing tyres which made it better but still not close to mine try putting weight on the load bin and see if that helps (2 bags of cement) ...

Yes I have checked the tire pressure, I'v pumped them 1.9bar.
