Mars what ever they did, it worked. The clutch was adjusted by several occasions and the whole clutch kid was replaced once with no success. The clutch shown hardly any wear. Slipping clutches are caused by the brake fluid expansion under heat and pushes the clutch. The local Toy agent did a modification on mine, they insert a spacer on the master cylinder to allow the expansion.

Also don't know all the fact but apparently the peak demand is when people come home in the evening, starting to cook etc. Business here having solars on the roofs for own use reduce demand on the grid during the day, but does not help the infrastructure costs as the peak demand is after hours. BFG muds will be sightly slippery on a hard wet surface. The rubber compound is harder then those softies. :shh: , but also will not be punctured so easily then.

LC batteries seem to do good, but for that price you can wreck maybe 3 high cycles which might last as long as the LC, or longer?! I use raylite AGM batteries, and very happy with them. The game numbers vary through out the year depend the raining season etc, but yes some of them will not give even a change taking a photo.
There are hunting concessions close to the area, which could effects Khaudum.

Khaudum, is officially closed long time ago, but they did not tell the officials staying there. :D:

They will still allow the camp or drive through and you pay next to nothing and get a receipt. So yes you can go.

Ek het dieselfde probleem gehad. Hulle doen so n vinnige job en dit hou net n jaar of drie, hulle monteer dit nie behoorlik op al die punte wat daar is of beskikbaar is nie, dat die battery stewig vas is nie. Die geringste wat die die battery dan onafhanklik begin skud begin die goed breek.

Chris, dis reg die 2.5 moet is n gemidelde amps oor n tyd wees. Ek hou maar my sonpanel maar los dat ek hulle kan skuif vir die beste son. Ek het n n 90l NL plus n 25l weaco en die 150 watt panele, en alles loop van n 90Ah AGM battery af. Die panele staan maar daar by die kamp en koppel dit op wanne...

Chris its not so bad, during the night it will consume less than 50% than what its using during the day. Chris, Don't be misled by that 2.5 Apms , its an average consumption over time for a certain condition.

That BD35F compressor can draw up to 6.5 amps when running.

As said on gravel roads round 1.8 bar, but also depends the size of a tyre. Some say about 20% lower than on tar. Chris, ek het op my hiluxe die diesel filter laat vervang met elke diens. Daai liggies is nie baie betroubaar nie, filters kos niks in vergelyking met injecters nie.

Op konstruksie hou die d4d's se injecters meer as 300k km waar filters gereeld vervang was, en dis 500ppm diesel.
