Hilux feature in Car Magazine

November's issue of Car Magazine is out now. Was excited to hear that my KZ made it on the pages. Of course as PRO for the club my Hilux Club T-shirt is now second skin.

Experience has taught me to stick to the Hela brand. Yes they make a huge difference. LED's are expensive to justify how often I use my truck, also generally LED's are very bright white light but lack penetration, something you need off-road.

Are the values you gave RMS values? Personally I do not like mixing the sub and mids on one amp, purely because of different frequencies and the fact that the sub draws more current (which translates into heat), which a normal amp won't be able to push for long periods of times, hence there's monobl...

I'm no fundi, much as you need the engine to breath better, i.e. by fitting a free flow, but going too big might also compromise you on the back pressure.

Re: Anti Theft Device

Other thing is disabling power to the ECU via a relay, some hiden switch(es) and a combination of something being on, before something else can be on. Sounds like a lot of work, but it's not and well worth it. No one is going to try push a truck weighing about 2500 kg, parked in an awkward position ...

The HcDp, as said, is not a sealed unit, have mine mounted behind the rear seat, what I love about it, besides being affordable is the inclusion cooling fan. Electronics fail because of heat. Also it's a local product and Manny, the owner, is very hands on and friendly. Local is lekka!
