I'm pondering if I should change my rims from the OEM to aftermarket, but cannot make up my mind..

These are a couple I had in mind, I'm not opposed to black rims but SWAMBO not so...needs a little encouragement

Wil jy nie ñ foto laai en wys hoe daai ligte op die nudge bar gemonteer is nie asb. Dit lyk uiters goed. Bosveldbul....Jammer ek het gisteraand eers laat by die huis gekom so foto is in die motorhuis geneem...Dis n vlekvrye staal bracket vas aan die nudge bar. Dan is die spot op hom monteer... Groe...

Het die WR spacers nie lank in gehad nie...ek het dit vervang met n volle Camil suspensie en baie gelukkig met die kombinasie.

You can do the front only, go and speak to the guys that do suspension, they will be able to give better advice. Camil's for the front will cost you about R6000. Well worth it though. Only reason I did the full set is because I had a shock in the back that was done...

Ek het gejok...het gisteraand die faktuur gaan soek en dit is R11,200 alles ingesluit...Balansering, arbeid die lot. Volle suspensie voor en agter! Hi Louis, Ek het nou sowat twee duisend km's op my ProComp Xtreme AT. Gaan hierdie naweek thabazimbie toe vir eerste jag en daarna na warmbad. Sal bietjie in die veld met hulle ry.... Sover redelik gelukkig...baie goeie waarde vir geld. Hulle raas nie so erg op die teer nie en hulle hantering is ook...

If you can afford it go for the OME by all means.....

However I fitted the full Camil system on my LUX (2009) and am very happy up till now. Ride is much better and on dirt roads much more stable. And at about 60-65% of the price of of OME. In my opinion well worth it.

So here is the situation, Bought a set of pro-comp Xtreme AT Tires, and so far very happy with their performance

My plan was to go this month and change the spare wheel as well...but that got me thinking. The tires are directional...

So what now

Bought the spacers from WROffroad for R850. Had them fitted at local Supa Quick for R550 (wheel alinement included) Plenty people can fit them, just have to phone around. Most expensive quote was two grand

I had to replace my 2009 DC front discs on 72000km. Fortunately just fell within warranty period. Toyota first skimmed the discs (my cost) and when that failed they replaced front discs and rear drums.

Agreed...Just had mine redone as well and she shoots beautifully. Wish I could find out how old she is though?
