Klink vir my jou vriend het probleme...maar geld is nie een van hulle nie :D: Micro robotics in centurion het 100A DC SSR's vir R199; my probleem is die terminale want ek het 'n 35mm sq kabel na die 2de batt toe om te kan winch met altwee in parallel, maar nou ja...ek het daai winch een keer gebruik...

I also need to replace the outer parts of the LTD sliders....one rusted & one bent. The tubes right under the seams hold up very well, it is the "steps" on the outer tubes that that weakens it and also where I bent the one. Thinking of rather having one continuous length with ends bent...

Nice job :thumbup: Brackets are probably placed to line up with existing holes in the chassis :think: I never had any luck with painting galvanized surfaces, even with all the fancy primers & treatments. Same with aluminium, hence the reason we had the canopies powder coated as it is guaranteed ...

I would also say 4mm2 minimum...2 mil will cause voltage drop

There is a crank seal engine side and a seal on the spline shaft gearbox side. If the crank seal has a leak there will be oil accumulating & draining from the bottom of the bell housing

New lifters aren't that expensive either, think we paid R87 each for the 200mm ones gassed to 150Nm, the Mcnaughtans brand that is.

I'm pretty sure Gemini has the switch itself as a separate item...but the switch is hardly ever the problem LOL

Have you tried N1 4x4 or Ultimate 4x4?
There is also Wannenburgs & Toyota breakers but I doubt if they'd have.

Gebruik jy die Dictator se Igniter(Rooi boksie)? Nee die gewone swart chip Gistraand weer begin met sy nonsens toe ek wou ry...sommer die +V & -V direk battery toe gevat, nie eers 'n snik van a dag oud nie. So ek dink ek't hom finaal gewen, maar ek ek is ni lus om geld te spandeer op n nuwe TP1...

Finally had an opportunity to do proper testing....it failed to start yesterday in the garage and remained in that state for long enough so that i could pry into the harness & hook up my logic tester and a multi-meter. So with ignition on & the Dicktator powered up and no trigger signal.... ...

Where did you mount the ECU? I have the dicktator hidden in the dash but I'm tempted to mount the Spitronic inside the engine bay against the firewall somewhere..

Ok tx, also got the Saturn. At the same time I got new injector plugs and replaced the coil wires with longer ones from the molex connector. Still waiting for the coil plug and tps plug

Would the standard 4 cyl map start the 22R or should I load something else?

The area of the conductor plays a role i.e you could have a thinner cable with more windings or a thicker one with less windings. That crossing there at the rear could also influence the voltage, but I would suggest to stick one end of the welding cable through the core again in other words add half...

Had the same problem with my Dicktator. Used to cut when I'm at a robot or low revs. Then I had to wait about 20-30 seconds with the power of to get it going again. Frame #3 all welded together; slightly beefed up with an extra arch and using 3mm wall thickness as this one will have an RTT.
Rear door frames welded together for all 3 frames.

I've been told the same thing 5 years ago....maybe its time...I'd rather replace with Sptronics than deal with Dicktator's poor after sales service. MRD racing here in Pta offered to test it for me, so fortunately I won't have to go to Dicktator themselves, maybe they have a loan unit I could use to...

Right .....completely rebuilt the dizzy with a brand new optic...and it cut out 4 times again tonight. So I guess optic triggers are not as unreliable as most people think as the old one was still fine...that basically leaves the ECU...maybe not as reliable as most believe? OK....so the problem persists, but not as bad as before. A failing battery just highlighted an underlying problem. What still gets me is the trigger line that doesn't go lower than 8V ....thus a slightly flat batt will reduce the signal amplitude. Checked all ground connections, wiring etc. In my mi...

Eish ...R2500 now...last I checked OME's were just on R2k each. Would have loved the HDPs but didn't have the appetite at the time for over R3k so I got the Safaris.
I'd say go for the HDP's, they are in a different league than the Safaris.
