Fortunately the control arms are only pieces of cast iron, nothing too technical...
And we used a grinder to remove the LR logo and part number ........:mrgreen:

Used Hilux axle for the SAS conversion. Only Cruiser bits are the coils and ventilated discs.

And Landrover control arms!!!!

I think it is just luck, I spent a whole week in the area and I took a lot of pictures, so I could choose the "better" ones for the post! :thumbup:

I used a Sony Cyber-shot 5.0 mp with a 3x optical zoom. But thanks for the compliment :mrgreen:

It is a known fact that: more wheel travel actually maintains traction longer . So Bretton, if your statement is correct, Well I would say if you travel 1km in your vehicle... then surely the wheel travel is 1km... obvious... :twisted: why bother with suspension mods, just keep on traveling............

I followed this thread with interest, and I believe that the end result will be good. As Eric said: You're going to experience the best of both worlds! :thumbup: But I must say that there is a lot more to this conversion than just swopping the 2.4 motor with a 2.7. :shock: The cost is about the same...

Die roete is droog... Niel het vanoggend gebel... so tensy dit tussen vanaand en Saterdag reen gaan daar nie water wees nie... behalwe as jy deur die dam ry...

Ek neem aan dit is die agterste wiel en dat die shackle aan die bokant vas is aan 'n bladveer wat aan die chassis vas is met u-bolts? Het ek dit reg so, of het ek die kat aan die gat beet?
