If you have access to a compressor, give it a try first to blow it back, but use the regulated pressure connection (not direct off the tank) and turn the regulator down to below 1 bar .... maybe about 0.8 ..... don't really know off-hand what pressure the cooling system operates at but you could ch...

No... if you can't blow through then the heat exchange radiator in the cab is probably blocked. I'm not very good with blowing :angel: But I gave it my best shot . . . and nothing . . . With the motor running, heater and fan set to full, check the difference in temp between the supply and return pipes to the radiator. The return should be a little cooler but should still be very hot .... if not, then there is a restriction of water flow through the radiator. Hi I checked it like y...

Nice write-up :thumbup: One thing to add I think, is 2 diodes across the relay coils, i.e. one diode across pins 85 & 88 on each relay with the cathodes on the fusebox side (R-B & R-W in your diagram). This is to counter back EMF from the relay coils so that you don't get arcing on the stal...

There are two cables connected to that control lever .... one operates the valve while the other operates a flap which allows the air through the little radiator into the cab. It ought to work as in the second diagram... the relay coils replace the high/low beam filaments from a control point of view; whether you then remove teh globes or not is irrelevant I'd prefer to keep the positive for the fusebox (2nd diagram) after the headlight relay, just easier. no need to trace the earth back all the way then, just use the 3-pronged plugs that go on the back of the lights to switch your relays. I guess you'll have to trace the White/black wire then fron the stalk harness, but I wouldn't bother...put your negative from your new relay contacts straight onto the battery or where the neg cable goes onto the chassis, whichever is closest to the place where you want to mount the relays ;-) Yes....

You will have to follow the coloured wire to where it terminates on the body. For more information on modifying your van's headlights.. go read here I think mine is exactly the same as that . . . According to the drawing (bottom 1st page) it's near the regulator while point b is inside the instrument panel. I would imagine the regulator to be inside the engine bay :think: Yes.
