Re: Air Jack vs Hi lift jack - which one and why

The most important thing to remember with a high lift jack is that it is a piece of recovery equipment and does not replace the OEM jack you are suppose to use to change the wheels. If you are familiar with the High Lift then you can change a tyre BUT you need to know the risks. I would not even dre...

Regarding your viscous. Not sure what it looks like but if you can split the unit then you can add a tube of silicone oil available from the agents only. Shout if you want a part number for the oil. its rather expensive but works 100% to get a viscous back to original functioning standard. Dont do s...

It actually all depends on the type of diff you have. The bearings remain in place and are not depend on the side shaft being there. On a semi flo...

Dont believe it will be injectors, could also be the could start setting from the ECU overreacting a bit and then retarding timing too much causing the diesel knock/clatter/rattle. The rattle you hear is a diesel knock from having incorrect injector timing. What the cause is is difficult for me to say. Have had three vehicle with the same symptoms in the past. I'm am not sure how the Hilux's fuel system works but on a petrol cruiser there is a resistor that halves the voltage to the fuel pump on lower engine rpm but will supply full voltage(and full pressure) at higher rpm. This is a fuel pump saving mechanism but they do sometimes give trouble.
