Motorola and Kenwood Radio parts

Post by braider »

Hi guys,

Can anyone help advise where I can find spares for the following:

Motorola CP140 Walkie Talkie - I need to buy to batteries

Kenwood hand held radio reciever?! No model number visible. Not sure what this device is called but it the part that you speak into and that connects to the radio you would mount in your car. I have attached pics of both here.

Thanx in advance

Gary

Hi,

I am based in the south of JHB, but getting around to various parts of JHB is not a problem!

Thanx

Gary

Hi Gary,

I have already answered your post on the community forum.

Please let me know whether that Kenwood microphone has 6 or 8 pins on the mic plug (telephone type connector). The mic is from a fairly old model Kenwood mobile and we will probably have to replace it with a generic type.

Batteries for your radio are no problem. Again, either Motorola OEM or generic, the prices will help you make a wise choice.
