Has anybody had any success in organizing such permits?

I understand that this is not always enforced, but dont want unnecessary issues at a border

Gents I have sent the following email yesterday to luis M. cumaio [lcumaio@incm.gov.mz]

Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2011 1:20 PM
To: luis M. cumaio
Subject: VHF Radio Permit

luis M. cumaio

I am visiting Mozambique over this month and enquire about the temporary permit to use my VHF radio in your country. We Will be visiting for 1 week and require your inputs.
How do I go about arranging this permit and what are the cost involved

Regards

Henk van der Walt

and received this reply this morning:

Dear Sr;

Mobile station will cost 1372.38MT
hand-held will cost 686.19MT

Before this step you have to get the declaration of importation, contact fjunior@incm.gov.mz

Best regards

luis Cumaio

So I requested the declaration of importation and hope to receive this asap. At least now I have made contact with these guys in Mozambique

Is the old form still in use as set out here (above in this thread) or is there a new one ?
