What happens to the units as trade-in one new ones?
My 715 costs a few years back R3 800 odd. They can't replace the battery now and it will cost me R2 200 on a 500. A new unit cost R2 600. Sjoeeee. The replacement for 715 I think is 1310 - Garmin will come back on the payin for this unit.
Which way should I go ?

Everdt.i got a battery from e-bay and replaced it myself.Very easy and the cost was about R200

The 1310 is obsolete. Go for a 2460 but if you really want style, go for the Montano 600. Closest thing as dammit to a 276C!
