2 way vhf radio worth it?

Post by JustinBr »

Hi

My dad has a vhf 2 way and we go on long trips often. Is there any benefit in me getting one as well?

It's quite expensive.

I suppose game viewing could be enhanced and perhaps riding in convoy. Is it one of those things that you cannot live without once you have it?

Please advise...

Thanks,
Justin

I would actually rather go with mobile... much longer reach and not that much more. The only advantage of handheld vs mobile is you can use the handheld outside the car

Without one you're gonna feel like a Zulu without a taxi, a pig in a hotel, like a real man without Jesus and a 4x4, like a Ferrari on bricks, like zooma without a shower. It's that bad. Seriously that bad. After my house, truck, running shoes and electric blanket it's one of those worthy things I have ever spent money on. And besides how are you hoping to hear Cassie's jokes without one? :mocking: :shock2:

There is one negative to owning a VHF radio:

Cassies jokes!
