Goeie naand almal
Ek het n 2004 IFS KZTE. Voor ek my onnodig werk gaan gee, wat is die groote van die antenna gat op die drywer kant fender vir die FM/AM radio? Ek wil n VHF antenna daar mount. Julle terug voer sal wardeer word.

Ja die gat groote vir die vhf antenna moet 19mm wees. As dai gat op die fender 19mm is dan mount ek die vhf antenna daar, anders moet ek ander plan maak. Sien ek wil nie onnodig gate maak nie.

As ek reg lees, soek jy die grootte van die Panasonic (of whatever) kommersiele CDP/FM radio, nie 'n twee-rigting radio nie.

As dit die geval is, is hulle gewoonlik 12mm, maar koop eers die antenna want die goed wat hulle nou gebruik vir kommersiele radio antennas is maar rubbish en nie te se dat dit standaard sal wees nie.

Of sit 'n Zara60 antenna in (19/20mm) en trim vir whip lengte van ±750mm. In hierdie geval sal jy die oorspronklike FM antenna se connector moet gebruik.

Oom Erik. My plan is of was om die FM radio se aireal uit te haal en n vhf antenna(zarra 60) antenna daar te sit mits die gat 19/20mm is.

Johan, dit sal werk maar is definitief nie ideeal nie. Die antenna sal te laag wees en jou seine gaan 'directional' wees, maar as jy die radio net in conyoys wil gebruik, sal dit OK wees.

Kyk na die antenna in die foto, alhoewel dit is 'n ander tipe antenna, die idee is reg.

Eric ek is nou deurmekaar.Ek het verstaan n ZARRA 60 met n wip van 750mm werk uitstekend as n antenna vir n FM radio.Volgens jou kommentaar is dit nie ideaal nie.Mis ek nou weer iets ?

Dawie, miskien verstaan ek vir Johan verkeerd. Ek het gedink hy wil dit vir 'n twee-rigting radio gebruik. As dit vir 'n gewone AM/FM radio is, dan is die lengte van 750mm korrek en dit sdal goed werk vir daardie doel.

Antenna-radio plug .... uhm ja ....

The genuine Toy radio has a DIFFERENT plug !! :(


so off to your local auto-radio shop to buy an adaptor plug ....



or as in my case - aftermarket radio into a new Toy - adaptor plug needed from the Toy antenna to the standard radio socket ....

Chris, is that for the Panasonic unit fitted to the KZ-TE? I replaced both my IFS radios with Alpine & Sony units some years ago and as far as I remember, it was the standard crappy plug, I can't recall having to get anything special for it.

Meskien het ek verkeerd begin. Ek sal oor begin ;-)

Ek het n 2004 KZ. Die FM radio se aireal is gemonteer op die drywerkant modderskerm. Nou ek wil die aireal afhaal en die VHF radio se antenna daar in dieselfde gat in die modderskerm monteer. Is die gat groote 19mm? Is daar panele wat sal verhoed dat ek dit kan doen aan die binne kant van die modderskerm?

Ek praat nie van die plug wat aan die agterkant van die radio is nie.

19mm sal werk.

die vhf antenna mount is plat en n adie kant, so behoort te pas.

Terug na F_D se post - dit is LAAG. Dus gaan die radio seine "directional" wees - puik na voor en kant, maar swak na agter. Die wat hy die montering hoop op die B pilaar gewys het - dan sal die antenna baie meer effektief wees na voor en na agter.


PS - so wat beplan jy vir die fm-radio se nuwe antena ?
