Hi guys,

I can get a standard 2014 Fortuner radio (I think they have bluetooth, please confirm) for free. Will it fit in my 2006 Vigo?

I fitted a late model tunas double din in what used to my hilux, just make sure you get the spacers that will the gaps as well.

Thanks Quentin. I assume you are talking about those little plastic inserts on the sides, top and bottom? How difficult is it to remove the old one?

Not difficult at all, Pull out your three ventilation adjustment knobs and the centre on should have a screw. remove this screw and all should become clear as the whole central piece including the centre vents should be able to be pulled free.

OK, so it seems the one I received won't fit without some mods on my dash (radio tapers a bit more than the gap). Anyone know if a good installer can still fit it for me, or should I rather leave it?
